Bob Bernstock is a management professional who has contributed to building some of the best known brands in the United States, and has held leadership positions with Consumer Packaged Goods Companies that have owned and marketed these brands. These companies include General Foods Corporation, the Campbell Soup Company, Vlasic Foods International, the Dial Corporation, and Scotts Miracle-Gro. Bob Bernstock began his career at General Foods Corporation and held positions at the other four companies as General Manager, Division President, Chief Operating Officer, and CEO.

At each of these five companies Bob Bernstock has been responsible for successfully launching new products, and also been responsible for the expansion and business building of the existing core product lines.. This work has contributed to earnings growth and increased shareholder value.

During Bob Bernstock’s career he has also worked in the information technology sector. In 2001, he served as the President, CEO and a Board Member of Atlas Commerce, which was sold in December of 2001 to Verticalnet. Bernstock had previously been employed during 1984 & 1985 at MultiMate International as the Vice President of Marketing. At the time MultiMate was among the largest computer software companies in the country. Bob Bernstock also served as the President of the Mailing and Shipping Services division of the United States Postal Service. During his tenure this division was responsible for $70 billion in sales annually..

Bob Bernstock is a businessman with a BA from Hamilton College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Bob Bernstock’s corporate career dates back to the General Foods Corporation, where he worked for about eight years in several positions with increasing responsibilities. A few years later Bernstock joined the Campbell Soup Company, and during the next thirteen years he held a number of leadership positions, including President of the International Grocery division, President of the North American Grocery division, and Executive Vice President.

When Bob Bernstock was President of the International Grocery Division, he was responsible for sales of $1.5 billion and for freestanding businesses in fourteen countries around the world, with approximately 12,000 employees. As President of the U.S. Grocery Division, he was responsible for sales of $3.5 billion, approximately 11,000 employees overall, a direct sales force of roughly 1,000 personnel, and manufacturing facilities across the United States.

Bob Bernstock also held high level positions at other companies. He is the former President and CEO of Vlasic Foods International, as well as the former President and COO of the Scotts Miracle-Gro Company. He is also the past President of the Mailing and Shipping division of the United States Postal Service.
